Coaching Development

Northside Wizards Basketball has the goal that all coaches within our affiliated club system and/or Wizards programs will have an appropriate coaching accreditation. Having experienced and knowledgeable coaches within our association is fundamental to ensuring that our players get the most out of the game and their own abilities. To achieve this we are committed to ensuring that our coaches have access to regular and ongoing development opportunities and resources. We align with Basketball Australia and Basketball Queensland’s Coach Accreditation Framework. Whether you are coaching a team of beginners or a national team, we want to support you to become an even stronger coach.

Higher levels of accreditation are conducted by Basketball Queensland. Basketball Queensland have mandated a minimum accreditation for coaches in their system.
